I cross the same thing!
My daughter is 9 months and she did not like the cup at all! DR I talked to her, there are only two days on this issue.
Neva (my daughter) is a straw or drink from a cup very well, but I do not drink, but one or two of the cup and lost his attention to them.
I say I am a very smart girl! My DR said, if your birthday 1 year old who does not use the potty, you can use a cup and straw for milk and juice.

My children have started a cup of about 10-12 months. I'm fine with a regular cup, go! Maybe you just use the pot if they do not want to with it and cause problems.

When your eight months of time to drink a good cup for them! when he is older and more active as you about in May, cups prevent spills, but otherwise use the cup on the left side. My son has started with a cup around six months and a Sippy Cup average of about 14 or 15 months.

I started at 9 months with my daughter. She pulls the tips of the straw and no ships scheduled coaches. However, standard cuts are too risky in view of the problems, then I have refused to leave without assistance.

Of course, you can skip the shell as a whole (if you do not have the disorder, however). The main reason he used a design was to avoid too much confusion for the meals, if I wanted to give them more control over their drinks and I ate. Sippie cups and straw for the outputs useful if you have a drink.

My daughters were able to drink from a regular cup (with assistance), after about 6 months, but my oldest does not suck up to one year. My youngest daughter has to 8-9 months sip I think discovered. (It is used to monitor and steal his older sister to the ground water and drinking until his shirt was soaked - LOL suck!)

Development, it is not necessary to present a draft - it is only for the convenience of parents.

The cups are a matter of choice, but I started, my children, if she could sit on the high chair. Your child may well be a cup, but I do not want chaos in the public, including the house of the grandmother, can avoid embarrassing moments cups.
